AFAS STUDENTS

Villanova College's ministry outreach is dedicated to educating students about social justice while providing opportunities for them and their families to make a meaningful impact in Filipino communities. A cornerstone of this initiative is the biannual immersion experience in the Philippines, where students actively fundraise for their travel expenses. During these trips, students engage deeply in cross-cultural learning, reflecting on Catholic social justice teachings and collaborating with local Augustinian communities and educational institutions.

Through close partnerships with the Augustinian Order in the Philippines and its affiliated communities, Villanova College ensures a safe, enriching, and educational experience for all participants. These connections foster ongoing relationships that strengthen understanding and support between Villanova and its Filipino counterparts. This immersive approach not only broadens students' global perspectives but also empowers them to contribute positively to social justice efforts both locally and internationally.
